Golden Visa nomination is an assessment or endorsement stage that can support a later residence application. In Abu Dhabi, the relevant authority and evidence depend on the category. A nomination request, a recommendation, approval to proceed and the final residence permission are different milestones. Applicants should know which one they currently hold before cancelling another visa or making travel commitments.

Its entrepreneur guidance refers to the relevant incubator or competent authority. Skilled-professional applications depend on their employment and qualification conditions rather than a general certificate of talent.

Use the exact category on the live service. A provider's broad description such as professional nomination can conceal several possible routes. Ask who issues the recommendation, what it assesses and which residence category it supports.

Avoid treating employer support as equivalent to the required government or accredited-body assessment. A company letter may prove duties or pay without supplying the official endorsement needed for a different route.

Check current channel availability

The ADRO specialist page has category-specific availability notices. For example, its health section directs applicants to TAMM's health-professional category, subject to that service's conditions. Some other unavailable local nomination categories point to skilled-professional applications with their own requirements.

These notices do not grant an exemption from the alternative route's conditions. If you do not meet its employment or salary requirements, a link to that route does not make you eligible. Seek clarification about the original category rather than selecting a different form solely because it opens.
